After 10 months of building work, and at a cost of £1.6m, we are delighted to report that the new Year 7 area and Art rooms are now complete.

The project adds a new storey containing 6 magnificant new rooms to the Design & Technology block. The room are totally glazed on one side which not only lets in natural light for the artists but provides fantastic views of Yorkshire on one side and the temporary classrooms they are designed to replace on the other.

We now have some of the best art facilities amongst comprehensive schools in the country. We think that these facilities set a new standard and we will endeavour to bring other departments up to this level.
