& opening of the new art building

Mr Sugden noted in the Easter Head's Newsletter:

"The highlight ... was the opening of our new art building on the 5th March. We used the opening of the buildig as an opportunity to showcase the work of our students in years 7, 8 and 9. What made me particularly proud was the fact that every student in these year groups (just under 800 students) had a piece of work on display. That is a good measure for an inclusive community school. Many more students added a special touch to the evening with performances in drama and music.

The building commemorated the memory of Dr Hudson and I said in my speech that he had a particular talent for recognising the importance of environment to learning."
