Careers

King James's School is committed to providing a high quality planned programme of careers education and guidance for all students from Years 7-13. We work closely with i-Gen Careers Advisers (North Yorkshire) to keep parents and carers informed about the process.
Careers

Our aims support those of the National Curriculum and in particular prepare students for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of adult life.

For further information, please contact our Careers Co-ordinator, Mrs Liz Garbutt at the school.

Notice to
Y9 Parents
(Oct 09)

Apologies regarding the Work Experience Packs. The sample letter to an employer should read "I am currently a Year 9 student at King James's School".

The blue WE4 Forms which should have been enclosed in your child's pack will be handed out in form next week. Work Experience talks, preparation and planning will start in November.

Liz Garbutt
Careers and Work Experience Co-ordinator
