Crag Rat Fury
As always at this time of year coursework dominates all our time and this has to effect how much Greenpower stuff gets done. Consequently progress has been really slow! The wheels were glued and three of the five have turned out really well. Unfortunately two have moved and are not sitting correctly in the rims. What we are going to do about this I am not sure! I think we will need to cut the Cellite out and remake and glue the disks again.

I watched the Corporate Challenge race on the Live Timing and must say I highly disagree with the new rules that limit the laps in any 30 minute segment! Sandbach had it worked out to the second and as long as they did not suffer any breakdowns how could they have been beaten? I appreciate that they may have won whatever the rules are but even so….. The new batteries will get rid of this rule but again it would be nice to know what size these are so we can design our car to accommodate them!
Crag Rat Blade
All loose components have been taken off Blade now in preparation for the chassis rebuild. We are still very unsure how we are going to do this as a welded chassis would be preferable but out of our control to do, whereas a bolt together chassis is more under our control Decisions, decisions hopefully we will have made our minds up in the next couple of weeks!
Blade went on display for the annual D & T exhibition in school and again we received many favourable comments from the visitors.
