On Wednesday 26 October, Mr Andrew Stanbridge, Manager
of Sainsbury's in Harrogate, visited Food Technology
to donate a range of goodies including scales, sieves,
baking sheets, bowls & ingredients. This was a result
of pupils & families collecting Sainsbury's Active
Kids vouchers.
The Year 11 Hospitality & Catering
group are pictured below receiving the goods with from
right to left: Mr Stanbridge, Miss Woodward (Head of
PE), Miss Thompson (Head of Design & Technology) & Mrs
Buckland (Head of Food Technology).
The group used the equipment & ingredients
the next day to make a delicious range of pizzas! |
