KJS welcomed 15 delegates to the KJS's 4th Taster Course, aiming to find out whether teaching could be the career for them.

The course included 5 lesson observations, presentations on various aspects of teaching today, mini lessons with delegate participation,
the opportunity to speak with teachers and students
and advice on routes into teaching and career progression.

Evaluations from the course indicate that all delegates enjoyed the course & it had provided them with the information they needed on Teaching, Teacher Training & Guidance (next steps).

KJS will be holding another Taster Course early in 2009.
