Sixth Form

Sixth Formers are asked to support the main school by wearing uniform smartly and in the spirit of a business environment.

As Sixth Formers are role models for younger students, eg. as helpers in lessons, House Captains, Prefects, etc, the spirit in which students dress is very important to the whole school.

The basics are either:

Royal Dress Stewart Tartan
Suit
Plain business trouser suit (black, dark grey or navy blue)
Shirt/
Blouse
Plain white, grey, blue or black shirt or blouse
suitable for wearing with the Sixth Form tie or cravat
Tie/
Cravat
Boys: Sixth Form tie
Girls: Royal Stewart Dress tartan cravat
Shoes
Plain black shoes
Not boots or trainers

OR

Kilt
Royal Stewart Dress tartan kilt
Shirt/
Blouse
Plain white shirt or blouse with collar
(to be worn with round or v-neck sweater)

Sweater/
Cardigan
Plain fine knitted sweater or cardigan
with round, v-neck or polo neck
in black, cream, red or grey
Tights
Plain black tights
Shoes
Plain black shoes
Any heels should be low & no more than 3cm high
We do not allow boots, stiletto, kitten heels, backless or open-toe shoes, or any styles we deem unsafe/unsuitable
