Here at King James’s School we have a highly skilled technical team, providing support to 1500+ students and over 200 staff. The IT Services Team is a key department within Business Services.

The team currently consists of a Senior Network Manager, two Senior Technicians, a Web / Graphics Designer and an IT Technician.

King James’s is currently using a mainly Microsoft environment with Hyper-V servers, Windows 10 clients and Office 365. We also support Apple iPads which are supplied to all teachers and key support staff as well as providing a BYOD solution to our Sixth Formers. We have 13 computer suites and invest in the latest technology and network solutions.

Through the Boroughbridge High School and King James’s School Federation, developing our inter-school information and resource sharing is high priority, whilst also integrating with additional systems.
