Drama is a popular extra-curricular activity at King James’s School. A range of opportunities are offered including Year 7 Drama Club, Technical Theatre Club (all years), Studio Production (years 10-13), School Production (years 8-13) and House Drama (all years) as well as annual recruitment into our school Drama Council

Each year we stage a main school production and we are extremely proud of the quality of every aspect of the performances – not only the acting, but also the music, sets and backstage support. Recent school productions have included School of Rock, Legally Blonde and Little Shop of Horrors. A range of smaller productions also take place during the course of the year, often performed by groups of students working towards their qualifications in Drama or Performing Arts.
